General Air Corporation is a manufacturer of process equipment, primarily for the semiconductor and opto-electronic industries. The company, founded in November 1980, designs, manufactures and sells process equipment and supporting systems. Quality products and workmanship are strongly emphasized, and are the outcome of decades of experience in design and fabrication possessed by the company personnel, whose history is traceable to the early days of the semiconductor industry. The company manufactures a variety of mini-environments, providing precise temperature, humidity and particulate control to meet stringent requirements of environmental conditions required by the semiconductor industry. Fume hoods, air handlers and exhausted laminar flow wet stations are also manufactured by the company, emphasizing attention to detailed design and a clean attractive appearance. In the process of manufacturing some of our products, a line of ultra high purity gas delivery systems has evolved. As the latest addition to our product line, the company manufactures gas delivery panels and gas lines according to customer specifications, employing a CAD design system in the engineering process, a Class 100 clean room, DI water facility, orbital welding system, and a variety of other specialized tools and materials. LPE (liquid phase epitaxial) reactor systems for production and R&D application, as well as a variety of systems custom-built to customer specifications, represent a large segment of our gross income.
